A rookie KPOP group MustB have been involved in a car crash/accident that has sadly taken the life of their manager. In the early hours of the 21st April they crashed on the Olympic Highway, with four other members sustaining minor injuries. Some netizens, however, have been hating on the group and their deceased manager, which is sickening. Ju Won Tak, former member of Rainz and contestant on Produce 101, has spoken up in defence of the group, and against the netizens, on Instagram as he is close to the group. We give our condolences to the manager’s family and friends, and hope the group recovers after this tragic turn of events.

Idol Group MustB Involved In Car Accident, Manager Passes Away
Seven-member idol group MustB was involved in a car accident.
On April 21 at 3:40 a.m. KST on Seoul’s Olympic-daero (eight-lane highway in Seoul), midway between bridges Seoulgyo and Yeouigyo in the direction of Jamsil, MustB’s van hit a guard rail next to the road.
The group’s manager Son (aged 36), who was driving during the accident, was seriously injured and transferred to Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital. Unfortunately, Son passed away.
MustB was on their way back to their dorm in Seoul after performing in Daegu when the accident occurred. Four members of the group and one other employee from their agency were riding in the car, and they received treatment at the hospital after sustaining minor injuries. The remaining members of the group had already gotten out of the car before the accident happened.
The police are currently inspecting the car’s black box and questioning the group members to figure out the details of the accident. They are also checking the possibility that the accident occurred due to drowsy driving.

The manager of K-pop boy band MustB has been killed in a car accident, police said Sunday.
According to the Yeongdeungpo Police Station, a van carrying the manager surnamed Son, 36, and five other people, including four of the seven-member group, crashed into a guardrail on the Olympic Expressway in Seoul at around 3:40 a.m.
Son was immediately transferred to the Ewha Womans University Mok-dong Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The four MustB members and one official at MustM Entertainment, the group’s agency, suffered minor injuries and were treated at the hospital. The three other members had left the van before the accident.
They were on their way home in Seoul after performing in Daegu, North Gyeongsang Province.
Police are looking into the cause of the accident.
MustB made its debut on Jan. 21 with the single “I Want U.”

The terrible car crash which involved the rookie boy group MustB had reportedly put one of the members in the hospital due to major injuries.
Following news of the horrific car accident which involved the rookie boy group MustB on April 21, it was shared that one of the members has also obtained major injuries and is currently receiving treatment.
Although reports only identified the severely injured member as the 22-year-old Kim, fans and several other netizens have noted that it points out to the group’s maknae Sihoo, the sole member who was born in 1998. As of April 21 3 PM KST, the member is reported to be receiving treatment at the Chung Ang University Hospital.
On their way back to Seoul at around 3 AM after finishing a performance in Daegu, the van carrying the seven members of the group got into a car accident. It was earlier reported that four members and one staff suffered from minor injuries, while the others had vacated the car before the crash occurred.
Unfortunately, the accident claimed the life of the group’s manager, aged thirty-six, who was driving the van despite having been brought to the hospital and given CPR.
Photos from the accident on-site showed the severity of the crash, with the van’s front side being completely destroyed. The Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul is currently investigating the accident through testimonials from the group members in the car during the crash and conducting a black box analysis.

The group’s manager—identified as a 36-year-old male with the surname Son—was the driver of the vehicle. He sustained serious injuries in the crash and was transferred to Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Four of the MustB members suffered minor injuries, though police have not identified which of the members sustained injuries.
Police are currently investigating the accident by questioning MustB members and examining the vehicle’s black box to help determine the cause of the crash. One theory police have come up with is drowsy driving.
This isn’t the first time a K-Pop group has been involved in a car accident as several groups over the years have been in crashes. However, one of the most tragic instances occurred September 2014 when Ladies’ Code was involved in an accident that claimed the lives of members EunBi and RiSe.
MustB debuted January 30, 2019 with the song “ I Want U .” The group consists of members Taegeon (formerly of M.Crown and Challenger), Hawoon (formerly of N.T.B and Challenger as Jeeho), Sangwoo (formerly of Pure Boy, Blast, Underdog, and Hi5), Wooyeon, DoHa (formerly of Underdog and Hi5), Soohyun, and Sihoo.
